Hey, Friends! Let’s Talk Burgers & Fries,
You can make any of your typical junk food cravings into a healthy meal. Today, I wanted to give you a beautiful Paleo Burger and Fries recipe. And believe me when I tell you, this beauty will satisfy your burger and fries cravings even MORE than anything you could get at a drive-thru.
I mean, look at it. It’s gorgeous!
Delicious Healthy Burger VS. Junky Burger
Not to be competitive or anything, but I also want to do a side by side run down of this Healthy Burger vs. what you’d normally get at a fast food chain…
Delicious Healthy Burger
- Grain-Free Bun
- Fat Loss Friendly Fries
- Grass Fed Beef
- Anti-Inflammatory
- Allergen Free
- Satisfying & Nutrient Dense
- Tastes Incredible
Other Junky Burgers
- Ultra Processed Bun
- Fries cooked in hydrogenated oils
- Inflammatory
- Corn syrup ketchup
- Leave you hungrier
- Use artificial “beef” flavors
- Tastes like chemicals
Once you try this delicious, paleo burger, you’ll see for yourself there’s just no comparison. What I want to drive home is that you can still eat the foods you love and crave, and enjoy fat loss and great health. It’s just a matter of giving a little extra love to your meal times.
It does take a little extra effort to make something like this than to get it at a drive thru, but I promise you that the payoff in both flavor and the way you feel is 1,000% worth it.
The Foundation — A Plantain Bun
These incredibly chewy, yummy, satisfying plantain buns can stand in for any bread dishes. You can use these for sandwiches, or even as a great side dish to replace dinner rolls.
The Benefits of Plantains
- Rich in prebiotics
- Good source of potassium and magnesium
- High in vitamins C & B6
- Overall great for gut health
- Won’t spike your blood sugar like normal buns
Grass Fed Beef Patties
There’s a common myth that beef is “bad for you”. The truth is, grass fed, grass finished beef is rich in essential vitamins, proteins, and minerals that are fantastic for health. It also tastes incredible.
- Add your favorite seasonings
- Sear in a hot pan to your desired doneness
- Let them rest for a minute to seal in the juices
Celery Root Fries
Celery root is an overlooked vegetable, but it’s a great replacement for the high glycemic potato. It has a unique and pleasant flavor, kind of like a combination of potato and celery! And of course, it’s packed with nutrition.
These fries won’t end up like the crispy fries of fast food places, but they’re delicious nonetheless.
- Season fresh herbs like dill, parsley, and oregano
- Spray with coconut or olive oil
- Salt to taste
Happy Cooking, My Friend 🙂
I hope you love this recipe as much as I do. And don’t forget, there’s a healthy alternative to almost everything you can imagine!
Have a great day, and take care of Your Self.
Much Love,
Brenda
